Your design stays yours
Sending us a file doesn't hand over any rights to it. The CAD, the drawings and the ideas in them remain your property. We use what you send for one job: quoting, engineering and making your parts.
NDAs: ours or yours, before you share
If you'd like an NDA in place before you share anything, we'll get one signed first. Send us yours, or ask for ours; we have a standard NDA ready to go. Email info@indeesource.com, or tick "Send me an NDA first" on the project form at indeesource.com and leave the files off until it's signed.
Who sees your files
Only the IndeeSource team members working on your job can open your files: the people quoting, engineering, programming, machining and inspecting your parts. We don't sell or share your files with anyone else. If part of your job goes to an outside finisher (anodizing, plating, heat treat and so on), they're under confidentiality terms with us and get only what they need for that step.
How files reach us
Files uploaded to the Instant Quote site, and the quotes themselves, are stored on our quoting server with our hosting provider, Render, on disks encrypted at rest. Files sent through the project form on indeesource.com travel over HTTPS and arrive as attachments in our business email; they aren't stored on the web server.
How long we keep them
We keep your files while the part is active, so reorders are fast and match the last run. Want them deleted? Email info@indeesource.com and we'll delete them promptly.
No marketing without your written OK
We don't post photos of your parts, name your company or show your project in our marketing unless you've said yes in writing.
Export-controlled work
IndeeSource is not ITAR-registered. Please don't upload ITAR or export-controlled (EAR) technical data through our websites. Call us first at (951) 491-9128 and we'll talk through options.
