Who we are

What we collect

• Orders and quotes: your name, email, company, phone, shipping and billing address, the parts and options you chose, notes, and your PO number if you give one.
• Files: the CAD models, drawings and photos you upload. They're stored on our quoting server so we can quote, make and reorder your parts.
• Your account: your email address, the details you save (contact and shipping address), saved quotes, and your sign-in session. We don't use passwords.
• Payments: Stripe handles card and bank details. We see the amount, the last four digits, tax and the billing address, never your full card or account number.
• Tax and credit: a resale certificate if you give us one, and the business details and trade references in a net terms application.
• Website inquiries: what you type into the project or OEM forms on indeesource.com, plus any files you attach.
• Technical data: your IP address and request times, used to stop spam and abuse, and standard server logs from our hosts.

How we use it

To quote and make your parts, process payment and invoices, ship your order and show its progress in your account, email you about your order, review resale certificates and terms applications, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve our quoting. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use your files for anything other than your job.

Cookies

The Instant Quote site sets one essential cookie when you sign in, to keep you signed in for up to 60 days. Signing out removes it. Neither site uses advertising cookies. If indeesource.com has Google Analytics turned on, it uses cookies to count page views; you can block those in your browser, or opt out with Google's add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need: Render (hosting for the Instant Quote site), Stripe (payments and tax), Resend (sending our emails), our business email provider, QuickBooks (invoicing) and our website host. Outside finishers, such as anodizing or heat treat, get only what they need to finish your parts. We also share information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Files and order records are kept while your parts are active, and as long as tax and accounting rules require for order records, so reorders are fast. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes. Sessions end after 60 days or when you sign out. You can ask us to delete your files or your account at any time, except records we must keep by law.

Your choices and rights

Email info@indeesource.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. We'll answer within 45 days. You can also close your account or ask us to stop emailing you about anything other than your orders.

Security

Both sites use encrypted HTTPS connections. Files and records on the Instant Quote site are stored with Render on disks encrypted at rest, and only the IndeeSource team can open them. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care to protect what you send us.

Children

Our sites are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above.
